Mild, tangy, and wonderfully versatile. The Banana Pepper (Capsicum annuum) gets its name from its long, curved shape and yellowish colour. With a very gentle heat (0 – 500 SHU), its flavour is the main attraction. It’s most commonly pickled and used to add a bright, acidic crunch to sandwiches, salads, and pizzas.
