Ghost Core – Ultra Hot Reserve by Chiliwerk Ghost Core is our hot reserve sauce for everyone who loves real heat with real flavour. Crafted in Berlin in small batches, this sauce brings the intense fire of fermented Ghost Peppers and Habaneros — but without becoming overwhelmingly hot. Instead, it delivers a complex, layered burn supported by deep roasted and caramelised notes. The base of Ghost Core is built from long-fermented chili peppers, giving the sauce natural acidity, roundness, and umami. To balance the heat, we caramelise onions low and slow until they transform into a sweet, savoury backbone. We then roast red pointed peppers until they blister and soften, adding smoke, sweetness, and depth. A splash of 20-year aged Sherry vinegar finishes the sauce with bright acidity and a touch of elegance. The result is a bold, aromatic flavor bomb: smoky, fruity, slightly sweet, and beautifully balanced — followed by the unmistakable, building heat of Ghost Pepper. It’s intense, yes, but not brutal. The goal is flavour first, heat second, always. Ghost Core works perfectly on grilled meats, roasted vegetables, burgers, tacos, fried chicken, rice bowls, and anything that benefits from a deep chili kick.
